Alex has spent the better part of 17 years working in a variety of roles throughout the food and beverage industry. She currently serves as the Director of Operations at The Peach Crease Club, a cocktail bar in Denver, Colorado, where she oversees daily operations, beverage programming, and team development. Prior to this role, she served as the Bar Manager at Death & Co's second outpost in Denver. Originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, Alex began her career immersed in Southern hospitality, working in a variety of James Beard Award-nominated restaurants. Over the years, she has earned numerous accolades, including Punch's Bartender in Residence, nominations for both Bartender of the Year and Best Bar Mentor at Tales of the Cocktail's Spirited Awards, recognition on Forbes' 30 Under 30 list in the Food & Beverage category, and a StarChefs Rising Stars Award for Bartender in Denver.

In early 2020, Alex joined forces with Lauren Paylor O'Brien to bring Focus on Health to life, an organization dedicated to improving the lives and well-being of hospitality professionals through community outreach, education, training, and industry-focused programming. Through her work both behind the bar and beyond it, Alex continues to advocate for a more sustainable, supportive, and inclusive hospitality industry.
